SunflowAR:
see Ukraine through the eyes of Sonya
The world changed when Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022
Thousands of missiles have been fired, destroying many civilian houses
Tens of thousands of people have lost their lives already
Millions of people have fled their country and homes
And the war is still far from over
SunflowAR can be accessed using your smartphone
SunflowAR was created to cut through news fatigue about the horrors happening in Ukraine.
SunflowAR uses the power of smartphones and augmented reality to touch hearts and souls, peaking a small glimpse of the war into users’ living rooms at home.
Initiated by Ukrainian-founded immersive company Musemio, SunflowAR is a pro-bono project that has attracted a consortium of partners from around the world. Creative professionals from different walks of life put their skills to work to draw attention to a war that is far from over.
The mission of the project is to raise awareness about humanitarian needs and secure ongoing support from the democratic world to help protect freedom and Ukrainian people.
SunflowAR uses creativity and the power of immersive art to invite empathy at the deepest levels. At the end of the experience, you are encouraged to make a donation to UNITED24*
UNITED24 was launched by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, as the main venue for collecting charitable donations in support of Ukraine. Funds will be transferred directly to the official accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine. In its first month, United24 raised more than 50 million dollars to support freedom and democracy in Europe.
You can use your card, Paypal or cryptocurrency to make a donation.
*SunflowAR was developed independently of UNITED24.
UNITED24 was chosen as a preferred venue for collecting charitable donations by the team.
